I compose my own
music,
write a cappella
arrangements,
and have performed with many bands and choirs. I sing, play bassoon, piano, guitar, bass, percussions, etc.
I currently teach voice and piano lessons at
The Foote School in New Haven, Ct.
I have been creating and performing since I was born. Currently, I perform with
Jonny Rodgers
of
Mighty Purple,
and a new all-female a cappella group,
Shaken Not Stirred.
I have performed on many
CDs, both as a singer and musician.
In the past, I have been a member of
All Night Vespas,
The UConn Chordials, New Haven Oratorio Choir, the UConn Wind Ensemble, the UConn Voices of Freedom Gospel Choir, UConn Consort, UConn Collegium Musicum, UConn Symphonic Band, UConn Marching Band, the Vernon Chorale, and the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra, to name a few.
I have been the recipient of the following awards: ICCA Northeast Divisional Outstanding Arrangement (2005), Edith B. Sampson Memorial Award (2001), Chorus Award (2000), Fine Arts Talent Scholarship (2001-2005), Association of Parents and Students Band Award (2000).
In addition, I have performed at such places as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Walt Disney World (Magical Moments Festival); I toured England, performing dozens of orchestral concerts; and have sang on ABC and NBC.
Within my local community, I have performed as a soloist and with groups at nursing homes, adult day care centers, and for various charity organizations.
As a high school student, I founded and directed an afterschool elementary school show choir for 24 children, which performed for local nursing homes and organizations.
During this time, I also taught private trumpet and voice lessons.
I also have training as a recording engineer and worked for three years as the assistant recording engineer at Firehouse 12.
